Coinbase Lists Grass Token for Full Trading Against US Dollar
The decentralized network Grass has reached a major milestone as its native token GRASS-USD is now fully tradable against the US dollar on Coinbase Exchange and Coinbase Advanced. This comes just five days after the exchange added GRASS to its public listing roadmap on August 21, with spot trading opening on August 26.
The launch process involved three stages: an auction mode lasting at least ten minutes, a limit-only phase where only limit orders were accepted, and finally full trading with all order types available. At the time of launch, GRASS was trading in a range of roughly $0.30 to $0.37, with a market capitalization in the low-to-mid hundreds of millions of dollars.
The token lives on Solana as an SPL token, and users can now buy, sell, convert, send, receive, and store GRASS through Coinbase's website and mobile app in eligible jurisdictions. Institutional traders also have access to GRASS through Coinbase Exchange directly.
