Coinbase Offers Bitcoin Grand Prize in New 'VALORANT' Tournament

Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has announced its latest esports initiative, a 1v1 'VALORANT' tournament dubbed Coinbase One Shot. The event will be hosted by popular streamer TenZ and promises a significant prize: one Bitcoin for the winner.

The tournament is open to anyone who wants to participate, with two entry paths available. The Creator Cups are reserved for creators and streamers, while the Open Qualifiers are open to a wider competitive field. Both regions will run their own version of each, with registration closing 48 hours before each event begins.

The top two finishers from both the Creator Cups and Open Qualifiers will advance to the in-person championship finals on October 25-26 in New York City. The winner will receive a Bitcoin grand prize, while the runners-up will get tickets to VCT Champions 2027.
