Coinbase Opens IPO Allocation Service to US Retail Customers
Coinbase has opened its IPO allocation service to eligible US retail customers, starting with Oura's proposed initial public offering. The service lets customers request shares at the expected IPO price, but it does not guarantee an allocation.
The process is conditional: customers can indicate interest in buying Oura shares, but Coinbase does not promise they will receive any. If a customer receives an allocation, they can trade the stock only once public-market trading starts.
Oura's IPO offering includes 50 million shares at an estimated price of $40 to $44 apiece. The company has applied to list its shares on Nasdaq under the symbol OURA.
