Coinbase Opens IPO Allocations to US Retail Traders Starting With Oura
Coinbase has expanded its IPO offerings to include U.S. retail traders. The feature, which allows eligible customers to request shares at the offer price before open-market trading starts, is available through the Coinbase app and begins with Oura's IPO.
Oura, a smart-ring company, set an estimated price range of $40.00 to $44.00 per share for its 50 million-share offering. The company reported revenue of $1,214.5 million for the nine months ended June 30, 2026, representing 74% year-over-year growth.
The allocation process works by allowing users to request shares at the offer price once the expected price range becomes public. Available shares are then allocated using an established methodology and booked directly into the customer's account at the IPO price.
