Coinbase filed notice registration documents with the SEC for equity perpetuals on its derivatives exchange. The move comes after the company announced eligible Canadian traders can now access regulated derivatives contracts on Coinbase.

Equity perpetuals have proven demand internationally, and Faryar Shirzad, Chief Policy Officer at Coinbase, stated 'equity perps have proven demand internationally' in a post on X. He also mentioned that the coordination between the SEC and CFTC making this possible is long overdue.

Coinbase announced its partnership with Webull (BULL) to expand its crypto experience to Canada, leveraging Coinbase's institutional-grade custody and trading services.
