Coinbase Shifts International Exchange Trading to Deribit

Share

Coinbase has completed its migration of the International Exchange to Deribit, ending trading on its former international venue. The old exchange is now read-only, with all trading activity moved to Deribit.

The switch was marked as complete at 10:02 UTC on October 1, 2026, and affected institutional clients will need to establish new trading connections and settle their accounts according to Deribit's cycle.

Clients using API or FIX connections will require Deribit endpoints and newly created Deribit API keys, while institutions with International Exchange keys will not be able to use them on the new venue.
