Coinbase has made significant changes to its digital asset portfolio in the first half of 2026, strengthening its Bitcoin treasury while reducing its Ethereum exposure.

The exchange increased its Bitcoin holdings by 12.5% between December 31, 2025, and June 30, 2026, adding 1,922 BTC to reach a total of 17,311 BTC.

Conversely, Coinbase's Ethereum holdings decreased by 0.6%, from 151,175 ETH at the end of last year to 150,279 ETH on June 30.

The value of Coinbase's crypto portfolio declined overall, dropping from $1.99 billion to $1.47 billion, reflecting the broader decline in digital asset prices during the first half of 2026.
