Coinbase Stock Price Targets $300 by 2027 Amid Crypto Volume Recovery
Coinbase's (COIN) stock price has been fluctuating lately, currently trading at $190.18, which is down 39.16% from its 52-week high of $402.16.
The company's co-founder and CEO, Brian Armstrong, expects Bitcoin to 'come back in a big way,' and with Coinbase's beta of 3.4, the stock has historically surged 391% in a single year when crypto turns.
Armstrong has been working to transform Coinbase into an 'everything exchange,' diversifying its revenue streams beyond just Bitcoin transactions. Transactions tied to Bitcoin used to bring in more than half of the company's revenue but now make up only 12% of it.
To reach a price target of $300 by 2027, several factors need to align, including crypto volume recovery and analysts raising their estimates for 2027 after cutting them hard. Coinbase has missed revenue estimates in each of the last three quarters.
