Coinbase Stock Stuck in Neutral as Stablecoins and AI Trading Drive Growth
Coinbase's stock price has been stuck in a narrow range between $174 and $192 since August 21, but there are several catalysts that could propel it forward.
One key area of growth is stablecoins, which CEO Brian Armstrong predicts will expand tenfold by 2030. Currently, they account for 24% of Coinbase's revenue, up from 22% in the previous quarter.
The company is also expanding into international markets, launching tokenized stocks with full ownership rights in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, it has begun building a financial account for AI agents, allowing them to trade cryptocurrencies, equities, and derivatives.
