Coinbase Stock Surges on SEC Regulatory Exemption
Coinbase stock has been on an upward trend, rising to $204.55 after the SEC granted a five-year Innovation Exemption for permissioned trading of tokenized stocks on public blockchains.
This regulatory approval expands Coinbase's tradable product universe, opening doors to greater user participation and institutional flows, which has driven increased demand for the asset.
Coinbase has also enabled U.S. retail customers to participate directly in IPO allocations through its platform, operated by its FINRA-registered arm Coinbase Capital Markets.
The company's stock price is expected to range between $188.95 and $220.15 over the next two to three sessions, with a 76% probability of further upside movement and only a 24% chance of a notable downward reversal.
