Coinbase Suspends Futures Contracts for 10 Crypto Assets

Coinbase has announced that it will suspend futures contracts for 10 crypto assets on August 26th. Trading in these futures contracts will be halted at approximately 9:00 PM Turkish time, with positions still open automatically settled.

The affected assets are Memecoin ($MEME-PERP), The Sandbox ($SAND-PERP), Moonbirds (BIRB-PERF), Blur (BLUR-PERF), Katana (KAT-PERF), SPX6900 ($SPX-PERF), ZORA (ZORA-PERF), Axie Infinity (AXS-PERF), Gensyn (AI-PERF), and LayerZero (ZRO-PERF).

Coinbase stated that the final settlement price will be calculated based on the average index price during the 60-minute period prior to suspension. The funding rate for the final funding period will be set at zero.
