Coinbase Suspends Trading on Six Non-USD Altcoin Pairs
Coinbase is conducting a quality-control campaign to clear up its order books. As part of this effort, the exchange will suspend trading on six non-USD pairs starting August 6, 2026. The affected assets include LSETH (Liquid Collective's staked ETH), MINA (Mina Protocol), GRT (The Graph), MASK (Mask Network), CHZ (Chiliz), and CRO (Crypto.com's CRO).
According to Coinbase Markets, this decision follows regular monitoring of order-book depth and trading activity. Pairs that fail to attract meaningful volume are being pruned to maintain a tighter and more efficient market.
The assets themselves are not being delisted, but rather the non-USD pairs will be suspended. Eligible Coinbase Advanced Trade users can still trade these assets against USD. However, traders with open positions or resting orders on these pairs should adjust them before the suspension takes effect, as those specific order books will disappear once trading is halted.
