Coinbase Taps Dominique Baillet as Chief People Officer
Dominique Baillet has been appointed Chief People Officer at Coinbase, marking a significant leadership progression after more than six years with the company. Since joining in May 2020, she has played a key role in shaping Coinbase's people strategy with a strategic and product-oriented approach to HR.
Baillet moves into the position from VP, People, where she oversaw broad responsibilities across Coinbase's people organization, including Total Rewards, Workplace and Employee Experience. Her previous roles have included HR business partnering, HR technology, people analytics, internal communications, and people operations.
Baillet brings over two decades of experience spanning people leadership, product, business strategy, organizational transformation, and operations to the Chief People Officer position. She has held leadership roles at companies such as Care.com, NerdWallet, Evolv, and Bain & Company, where she built a strong foundation in strategy and organizational transformation.
Coinbase is continuing to scale its global business and people infrastructure in support of its ambitions across the evolving financial and digital asset ecosystem. With her promotion, Baillet will play a crucial role in shaping the company's people strategy as it expands globally.
