Coinbase to Merge Aerodrome and Velodrome Tokens in November 2026

Coinbase announced that it will support the token swap of Aerodrome Finance (AERO) and Velodrome Finance (VELO) into a new unified token in November 2026. This conversion window will run from November 2-4, 2026, and will be automatic for most users. Trading and transfers will be affected during this time.

The conversion rate is 1:1 for Aerodrome tokens, while Velodrome tokens will convert to approximately 0.044 of the new token. No conversion fees will be charged by Coinbase. Trading of the Aerodrome token is not expected to be impacted, but Velodrome trading will be disabled on November 2, 2026.

Deposits and withdrawals of both legacy tokens will be temporarily suspended during the conversion window. Users who want to opt out of the automatic conversion must move their tokens to a compatible self-custody wallet before November 2, 2026.
