Coinbase has expanded its decentralized finance (DeFi) capabilities by launching cbHYPE and cbZEC on the Aerodrome platform.

The integration of these tokens into Aerodrome's DeFi framework allows Coinbase users to participate in various DeFi activities, such as staking and trading fee discounts.

CbHYPE offers holders up to 17% APY when staked to secure the HyperBFT consensus, while cbZEC is a wrapped representation of Zcash that enables users to deploy their ZEC holdings in Base network's DeFi protocols.
