Coinbase Unveils 170+ Derivatives Contracts for UK Pro Investors

Coinbase has announced the launch of over 170 derivatives contracts for professional investors in the UK, as part of its 'Everything Exchange' strategy. This expansion follows Coinbase's July authorization to offer regulated financial instruments alongside its crypto products.

The new contracts will be available for trading 24/7 with up to 50x leverage and include perpetuals, futures, and options across various asset classes such as crypto, commodities, equities, and FX. This move aims to connect digital assets with traditional financial markets through a single platform.

Coinbase's UK head of crypto exchange, Keith Grose, noted that eligible investors can trade over 170 contracts with up to 50x leverage. The company's 'Everything Exchange' strategy seeks to combine spot markets, derivatives, and other financial instruments within a common platform.
