Coinbase's Developer Platform Integrates Crypto-Backed Loans through Morpho Blue

Coinbase has introduced a new feature called Borrow through its developer platform Morpho Blue on Base. This allows apps to open and manage crypto-backed USDC loan positions using CDP APIs.

The feature is available for CDP Smart account users on Base Mainnet, supporting cbBTC, cbXRP, SOL, and cbETH pairs against USDC.

Morpho Blue serves as the exclusive lending layer for Borrow, allowing third-party apps built on Coinbase's developer platform to route borrow demand directly into Morpho markets on Base.

This integration gives Morpho a distribution channel through Coinbase's developer ecosystem without requiring individual integrations with lending protocols.
