CoinEx Deadline Looms: Withdraw Non-USDT Balances by September 29 or Face Liquidation
CoinEx has set September 29 as the deadline for users to withdraw non-USDT balances from their accounts. After this date, any remaining holdings will be liquidated and converted into USDT. The exchange will sell coins with external liquidity in batches, crediting the net proceeds to the user's spot account. Coins without external liquidity will be delisted, and users will not receive any further custody or redemption.
According to the wind-down notice, CoinEx distinguishes between two groups of coins: those with external liquidity and those without. For coins with external liquidity, the exchange will sell them and convert the net proceeds into USDT. For coins without external liquidity, they will be delisted, and the associated wallets will no longer be operated.
The liquidation process will occur in batches, spread across the withdrawal period. CoinEx has announced that it will not provide separate notices for individual batches. This means that users will not know when their holdings will be sold or at what price.
