Coinfest Asia Adds Institutional Track for Stablecoin Focus
Coinfest Asia is revamping its programming for the 2026 edition by introducing an Institutional Track focused on stablecoins and tokenization. This departure from prior editions comes as the event has experienced rapid growth, with the 2025 edition drawing in 11,184 attendees from over 90 countries.
The Institutional Track will cover digital asset adoption, stablecoin integration, and tokenization, featuring Asia Go-To-Market briefings and closed-door roundtables. The track is backed by a newly formed consortium: ICEX (Indonesia Crypto Exchange), Crypto Asset Clearing International, and International Crypto Custodian.
This move suggests that the festival's regulator- and enterprise-facing audience has grown large enough to warrant separate infrastructure. The 2026 speaker list reflects this institutional push, with notable figures including Charles Hoskinson, founder of Input Output Group and Cardano network, alongside Angela Ang, APAC Managing Director at BitGo.
The addition of an Institutional Track will allow for more tailored content and networking opportunities for attendees from the finance and enterprise sectors. The event's growth is a testament to the increasing interest in digital assets and blockchain technology across Asia.
