CoinMarketCap has acquired Coinglass, a crypto derivatives data platform, for an undisclosed amount. The deal has already closed, and CoinGlass will continue to operate under its own brand. Its website, app, free tools, API, and pricing will remain unchanged.

Coinglass tracks open interest, funding rates, liquidations, and options across 28 exchanges and covers over 2,500 instruments. It serves more than 5 million monthly users, with over 10,000 API customers pulling its data directly into their own tools.

The acquisition adds to CoinMarketCap's ownership history, which includes being acquired by Binance in April 2020. The company stated that it does not plan to change how Coinglass operates and will continue to make the platform's data available to a larger audience.
