CoinMarketCap Unveils API Plans Starting at $29 per Month

CoinMarketCap offers an API that allows developers to access real-time cryptocurrency data, including prices, market capitalizations, trading volumes, and exchange metrics across thousands of listed digital assets worldwide.

The free Basic plan provides 15,000 monthly call credits and access to over 30 endpoints, making it suitable for prototyping before upgrading to paid tiers. Paid plans start at $29 per month for the Hobbyist plan, which adds commercial licensing and 150,000 monthly credits.

CoinMarketCap tracks pricing data for thousands of cryptocurrencies and is the most referenced price tracking platform in the digital asset industry. It was founded by Brandon Chez in 2013 and acquired by Binance Capital Management in April 2020.
