Peter Schiff, a well-known critic of Bitcoin, has reignited his long-standing criticism of the cryptocurrency industry following a recent high-profile hack of the Coldcard wallet.

The attack affected over 1,200 addresses and resulted in losses estimated at up to $89 million. According to reports, the vulnerability exploited was in the wallet's firmware, specifically its random seed generation process.

Schiff warned that advancements in artificial intelligence and quantum computing will make hacking even easier, stating 'This will only get worse as AI and quantum computing make hacking even easier.'
