Galaxy Research has updated its estimate of losses tied to the Coldcard hardware wallet vulnerability. The firm now believes that around 1,596 Bitcoin have been stolen across three confirmed attack waves.

The researchers warn that this figure could rise to approximately 2,055 BTC, or nearly $130 million at current prices, if a suspected fourth wave is verified.

Around 90% of the stolen Bitcoin remains untouched. Investigators have shared confirmed attacker and victim addresses with U.S. law enforcement agencies, exchanges, and cyber investigation groups.
