Column Bank Integrates Stablecoins into Banking Core, Defaults to Solana Network
Column, a federally chartered U.S. bank with $1.77 billion in assets, has integrated stablecoins into its banking core, making Solana the default network for its digital asset operations.
The bank offers native support for USDC and USDT with fiat conversion available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through its system that processes tens of billions of dollars in volume annually.
Amelia Daly, head of partnerships at the Solana Foundation, stated that stablecoins are not crypto products but rather dollar infrastructure, their utility depending on the speed, cost, and reliability of the network supporting them.
