COMPASSPathways Stock Soars on Positive Clinical Trial Results
COMPASSPathways stock saw significant gains on September 17 as the company made notable progress in its clinical trials and commercialization efforts. The surge can be attributed to the release of positive results from its COMP360 Phase III trial, which showed rapid and durable efficacy for treatment-resistant depression.
The study found that patients who received a single 25 mg dose of COMP360 one year later had an average reduction of 13 points in their MADRS score. Approximately 40-45% achieved at least a 50% response, while about 30% achieved remission. The safety profile was consistent with previous stages.
On September 15, the company announced that COMP360 requires a low number of annual doses for treatment-resistant depression. They also stated that they plan to complete FDA submission in Q4 2026 and expect market launch in the first half of 2027.
