Compound Foundation has undergone a significant leadership overhaul, appointing four new executives to its management structure. Aaron Schnarch will serve as Executive Director, Christopher Donovan as Chief Operating Officer, Leo Eikelman as Chief Technology Officer, and Steven Liu as Chief Product Officer.

The appointments are part of Compound's targeted expansion efforts, aimed at making the protocol a competitive asset in the market. This major change comes on the heels of a $52 million development fund allocation by Compound DAO, with $28 million dedicated to operations and project growth over the next two years.

The funding will focus on fields such as risk, marketing, engineering, and the development of Compound V4. The project also allocated $14 million to its multisignature wallet. This significant investment is expected to bridge the gap between decentralized finance (DeFi) and traditional finance (TradFi).
