Corporate Accumulation Takes Shape: Bitcoin's Q4 Setup Unfolds
As the fourth quarter (Q4) of the year approaches, signs are emerging that corporate accumulation is taking shape. This trend could set up a strong backdrop for Bitcoin's price action in Q4. Michael Saylor has signaled a possible BTC purchase with an 'Orange signal' on X, while Strive CEO Matt Cole has hinted at buying more Bitcoin. Both companies have seen their stock prices rise significantly this month: MSTR is up 20% and ASST is up 21%, following last month's rallies of 30% and 118%, respectively.
This matters because a higher stock price gives companies like Strategy and Strive room to raise capital, potentially scaling their Bitcoin treasuries. A key metric suggests that this corporate accumulation trend could be laying the groundwork for Bitcoin's Q4 cycle. The BTC/Gold ratio has risen over 13% so far this month, extending last month's 15% rally and taking its Q3 gain to around 37%.
Meanwhile, nearly 40,000 BTC have left exchanges this week alone, with total exchange holdings dropping to 2.46 million BTC, the lowest level since mid-May. This tightening of available supply could set the stage for a stronger Q4 move if corporate accumulation continues.
