Corporate Bitcoin Buying Slows Sharply Amid Market Weakness

Publicly traded companies have significantly reduced their Bitcoin purchases in recent months. According to Pluang, they acquired only about 5,900 BTC over the past three months compared to more than 100,000 BTC during the same period last year.

This slowdown in corporate demand is attributed to the fact that many treasuries remain underwater with an average purchase price of $80,500 while Bitcoin trades near $76,400.

Despite some institutional interest seen in U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs, overall demand signals remain subdued. This includes stablecoin supply and Coinbase premiums.
