Cramer Blames Democrats for Blocking Cryptocurrency Regulation Bill
US Senator Kevin Cramer has publicly blamed Democrats for blocking a bill aimed at regulating cryptocurrency. The Clarity Act, which was voted on by the US Senate on September 17, 2026, did not pass and is now effectively dead in its current form.
Cramer accused Elizabeth Warren of leading the opposition to the bill, stating that she and her party would rather focus on President Trump's personal finances than establish necessary regulations for digital assets. He expressed hope that the administration will take steps to create market structures for investors in the sector.
