CRCL Surges on Bitcoin Rally and IBM Patent Deal
Circle Internet Group Inc.'s stock surged by 2.06 percent as optimism grew over its expanding stablecoin ecosystem.
The company's shares jumped more than 9% alongside other crypto-related names after Bitcoin pushed above $70,000 and then $71,000.
This move was also fueled by a favorable policy signal from a Trump meeting with crypto executives and the acquisition of IBM's global blockchain patent portfolio, which includes over 680 patent families and nearly 1,000 issued patents.
Circle Internet Group Inc. has been trading like a leveraged proxy on Bitcoin, with its shares grinding higher in a tight range between $86.5 and $90.3.
