CK Zheng, former global valuation risk manager at Credit Suisse, recently made some bullish statements about Bitcoin's future price. According to him, the worst period for BTC may be over and could reach $150,000 by the end of 2027.

Zheng pointed out that key factors supporting a new bull cycle in Bitcoin include reduced regulatory uncertainty, continued institutional adoption, and potential adoption of the CLARITY Act in the US. He also believes that growing US government debt may increase demand for BTC and gold as hedges against the dollar's purchasing power.

Strategy Chairman Michael Saylor made an announcement about his company's Bitcoin purchases. Strategy has resumed buying BTC, with Saylor announcing an additional 4,603 BTC purchase for approximately $370 million. As of August 30, 2026, the company held a total of 845,050 BTC and $6.71 billion in US dollars in assets.
