Cronos Chain Halted Amid $74M TectonicFi Exploit
Cronos Network was forced to pause its entire chain after the cryptocurrency platform TectonicFi suffered a massive $74M exploit. The attacker managed to bridge only $6M of the stolen funds to Ethereum, leaving around $60M stranded across three addresses.
The price action on CRO has been pinned at $0.06, exactly at both its 50-day (EMA50) and 200-day exponential moving averages (EMA200), creating a tight long-term confluence zone.
Technical indicators show that momentum has stalled rather than reversed, with the MACD golden cross remaining intact and the RSI sitting neutral at 46.41. The Bollinger Bands are also printing at $0.06, indicating volatility compression rather than exhaustion.
