Cronos Labs Proposes Buyback and Burn Plan for CRO

Cronos Labs has proposed a governance plan to utilize revenue generated from Ult and Cronos Launch for buying back and burning CRO on the open market. This initiative aims to stimulate demand by removing supply, which could have a positive impact on the cryptocurrency's price. The proposal also includes using strategic reserves to supplement future Cronos POS staking rewards, ensuring that reward parameters remain unchanged as CRO inflationary emissions gradually decline.

The governance proposal is currently in its discussion phase and will be submitted for on-chain voting later, with a 14-day voting period requiring a quorum of 33.4% of staked CRO and more than 50% of non-abstaining votes in favor for it to pass.
