CRX Trade Unites Crypto and Traditional Markets in Single Account
CRX Trade, a prime broker based in Zug, Switzerland, has launched a platform that bridges crypto and traditional financial markets. The service allows firms to use bitcoin, stablecoins, or tokenized gold as collateral across ten different trading venues, including major crypto exchanges like Binance, Bybit, Gate, and Hyperliquid, as well as the CME Group and Nasdaq.
The platform, operated by RAS Capital and powered by CoinRoutes technology, addresses a key challenge for funds holding crypto assets. Previously, firms had to maintain separate deposits across multiple venues and rely on different providers for trading, custody, and risk reporting. CRX Trade consolidates these functions into a single account, enabling clients to trade perpetual futures on assets like oil, gold, or stocks against their tokenized counterparts.
Each client has an isolated wallet and address, with trading rights kept separate from withdrawal rights. The platform also integrates CoinRoutes trading tools without requiring additional software licenses. Eamon Comerford, Managing Director of RAS Capital, emphasized that the service fills a gap in the market by providing institutions with broader market access and coordinated collateral management. Ian Weisberger, CEO of CoinRoutes, noted that the platform extends the single prime relationship model used by equity funds to digital assets.
The service is exclusively available to professional and institutional clients, ensuring a high level of market access and security for qualified investors.
