CRX Trade Unveils Unified Platform for Crypto and Traditional Markets
CRX Trade, a Swiss institutional brokerage, has launched a platform that allows hedge funds and trading firms to access both cryptocurrency exchanges and traditional US markets through a single account. The Zug-based company connects clients to 10 venues, including major crypto exchanges like Binance, Bybit, and Gate, as well as traditional markets like CME Group and Nasdaq. The platform, powered by CoinRoutes technology, integrates execution, collateral management, and custody into one brokerage relationship.
CRX Trade aims to simplify the infrastructure typically used by institutions when trading across digital and traditional assets. Clients can post assets like bitcoin, stablecoins, and tokenized gold into a single collateral pool, which is continuously revalued. Client assets are held in separate institutional wallets with distinct addresses and separate trading permissions.
The platform also provides access to financing from third-party lenders, though CRX Trade does not lend its own capital. Eamon Comerford, MD of RAS Capital GmbH, emphasized that the platform addresses the gap between digital assets and traditional securities by offering broader market access and coordinated collateral.
Tokenized equities have seen significant growth in 2026, with on-chain trading volumes reaching a record $15.6 billion in September. CME Group reported a 32 percent year-over-year increase in average daily crypto futures and options volume. CRX Trade's infrastructure enables clients to run strategies across both crypto and traditional markets without separate trading arrangements.
