Crypto Adoption Rises Despite Flat Markets
The crypto market may be stuck in a period of sideways trading, but blockchain adoption is on the rise. According to Santiment Intelligence, non-empty wallet counts across several major networks are steadily climbing, signaling sustained user participation despite subdued price action.
Ethereum has reached a milestone by surpassing 200 million non-empty wallets for the first time in two weeks. The XRP Ledger and USDC on Ethereum have also crossed 8 million funded addresses during the same period, while Chainlink exceeded 900,000 non-empty wallets.
While a single wallet does not necessarily represent a single user, non-empty wallet growth remains one of the clearest indicators of long-term network adoption. It reflects addresses that continue holding assets, interacting with decentralized applications, or participating in blockchain ecosystems, suggesting users are accumulating and staying engaged rather than exiting during quieter market conditions.
Ethereum's latest milestone reinforces its dominance as the world's leading smart contract platform. Even without a major price rally, developers, institutions, and retail users continue expanding their activity across the network.
