Crypto Ads Flood Indian Screens Amid Global Regulation Concerns
Crypto ads are flooding Indian screens once again, with over 50 platforms registered and an estimated 40 million people invested in cryptocurrencies.
This development comes as US President Donald Trump's financial disclosures revealed that he earned more than $1.4 billion from various crypto ventures, including a memecoin and a family firm with the token sales generating hundreds of millions of dollars in income.
The memecoin's price reached $74 before collapsing to below $2, resulting in market value losses for investors.
In another development, Canadian company Coinkite's Coldcard device, used by many as a secure way to store Bitcoin, was found to have a bug that generated secret keys easily guessable with modest computing power. Attackers emptied thousands of wallets within minutes, totaling over $100 million in losses.
