Crypto billionaire Justin Sun has found himself in the midst of a public scandal after accusing Chinese actress Jing Tian of exploiting their relationship and demanding $50 million from him.

Sun, chairman and CEO of peiwoApp and BitTorrent, published a 6,000-word open letter detailing his claims against Jing Tian, also known as 'Beijing's No. 1 Beauty',

He alleged that she fabricated a surrogacy-related story to demand the hefty sum and claimed he had filed a lawsuit against her and her parents seeking the return of more than 30 million yuan in engagement money.

However, instead of sympathy, Sun's accusations received widespread criticism from the public and fellow crypto billionaires, who accused him of attempting to damage Jing Tian's reputation for publicity and profit.
