Crypto Billionaires Donate £72 Million to Nigel Farage's Reform UK

Two cryptocurrency billionaires have made significant donations to Reform UK, a party led by Nigel Farage. Ben Delo and Christopher Harborne each donated £36 million, bringing the total amount received by the party to £72 million.

In an interview, Mr. Harborne stated that he expected media speculation regarding his donation but clarified that he wanted nothing in return for his donations. He emphasized that he supports Reform UK because it is a party ready for government and not due to any personal gain or expectations of policy changes.

Benedict Delo, the co-founder of BitMEX, had previously announced his intention to move back to Britain to help build a war chest for Reform UK. He has also been involved in various philanthropic efforts, including signing the Giving Pledge in 2019.
