Crypto-Billionaires Donate £72 Million to Reform UK Amid Controversy
Reform UK has received two massive donations from crypto-billionaires Christopher Harborne and Ben Delo, totaling £72 million.
The donations are the largest in British political history, equivalent to three-quarters of the money spent at the 2024 general election by all parties combined.
According to Reform UK, neither donor will receive anything in return for their gifts, including a knighthood or government contract.
However, this has sparked criticism from Labour MP Stella Creasy and campaign group Spotlight on Corruption, who say the donations could have a 'huge and damaging impact' on UK politics.
Critics also pointed out that previous donors to Reform UK, including Michael Mansour and Michael Hintze, received honors for their contributions.
