Crypto Billionaires Pump £72 Million into Reform UK

Reform UK has received a significant boost in funding after two cryptocurrency billionaires donated £36 million each to the party. Thai-based businessman Christopher Harborne, Reform's largest donor, said he matched Ben Delo's donation out of competitive spirit, hoping others will follow suit.

Harborne wrote in The Daily Telegraph that his donation is 'a philanthropic gift to our country' intended to help Reform prepare for government. He emphasized the need for a 'profitable and dynamic economy' to address existential threats such as nuclear war, AI, and climate change.

The twin donations come after scrutiny of Reform's finances, including a criminal investigation into allegations it breached rules on political donations. Reform UK denies any wrongdoing and will cooperate with the probe.
