Crypto Casino Disputes: What Happens When You Lodge a Complaint

Share

When things go wrong at an online crypto casino, players may wonder what recourse they have. The answer depends on the jurisdiction in which the casino is licensed.

Curaçao, Anjouan, and Tobique all use a system called CADRE for dispute resolution. This process requires that players first try to resolve their issue with the casino directly, documenting everything along the way.

If the complaint isn't resolved through the casino, it can be taken to CADRE, which is a subsidiary of RGOAL Limited and an approved ADR provider by the European Commission. The process at CADRE involves filing for free, regardless of the outcome, with complaints resolved within 5 working days for responsible-gambling issues.

However, Curaçao's regulator, the CGA, explicitly states that dispute resolution is not within its mandate and cannot order an operator to pay. CADRE mediates between players and casinos but doesn't have direct enforcement power like a court would.
