Crypto.com Gets Green Light for Single-Stock Futures in US Without SEC Approval
Crypto.com's futures exchange, Nadex, has become a registered national securities exchange for security futures products in the US. This status was granted through a provision that allows a Commodity Futures Trading Commission market to join the Securities and Exchange Commission's rolls without a vote.
Nadex filed a Form 1-N on September 14, which the SEC acknowledged receiving on September 16. Kris Marszalek, Crypto.com's CEO, stated in a post that the form covered his company's futures exchange through OG.com, and that 'we are now authorized to bring single-stock futures to the market.'
Nadex has been a CFTC-designated contract market since 2004, when it was designated as HedgeStreet. The CFTC amended this order in September 2025 to let the exchange offer margined futures cleared on an intermediated basis by registered futures commission merchants.
