Crypto.com Scores 3.3 Out of 5 on MEXC's Scorecard
Crypto.com has scored 3.3 out of 5 on MEXC's six-dimension scorecard as of September 2026, leading on deposits and withdrawals and competitive on security, but trailing on fees, derivatives disclosure, and asset coverage.
The platform is suitable for mobile-first holders in the US, EEA, and UK who use the Visa card and fiat rails, but it's not a good pick for order-book traders who don't pay a subscription or lock up CRO for a lower rate.
Crypto.com has two products under one brand: an App that quotes users a price with the spread inside it, and an Exchange that shows an order book with maker and taker fees. The App is a broker-style screen where users see a quote and tap to trade, while the Exchange offers a different product with an order book.
The App's EEA fee schedule lists 0.80% per cash-to-crypto or crypto-to-crypto purchase plus a spread, and up to 4% on card purchases. In contrast, MEXC charges $0.50 as a taker on its exchange for the same trade.
Crypto.com offers zero trading fees in the US with a subscription or CRO lock-up, while the Exchange's lowest openly published tier, VIP 1, charges 0.0631% maker and 0.0970% taker. The platform has fully reimbursed accounts hit in its January 2022 hack and publishes a proof of reserves.
