The crypto market saw a reversal on September 30, as U.S. spot crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) turned negative for the first time in nine trading days. Bitcoin ETFs recorded the largest withdrawal, losing $148.7 million, after a period of sustained institutional inflows.

Fidelity's FBTC accounted for approximately $125.6 million of redemptions, making it the dominant contributor to the day's net outflows. This reversal marked the end of a nine-session Bitcoin ETF inflow streak that began on September 17 and accelerated dramatically during the previous week.

Between September 21 and September 25 alone, Bitcoin funds attracted approximately $2.39 billion, with daily inflows slowing to $134.5 million on September 25, $31 million on September 28, and $66.2 million on September 29 before finally turning negative.
