Crypto Exchange Kalshi Faces Scrutiny Amid Suspicious Trading Activity
Kalshi's crypto perpetual futures are facing scrutiny after reports of suspicious trading activity.
A critic pointed out repeated $5,500 ETH-PERP trades, raising questions about whether reported volume reflects genuine activity.
This comes as Coinbase filed to list perpetual futures linked to roughly 50 to 60 major U.S. stocks, including Apple and Tesla.
Kalshi is also preparing to seek regulatory approval for individual U.S. stock perpetual futures and has already been authorized by the CFTC to list gold and silver perpetual contracts starting September 10, 2026.
