Crypto Exchanges Attracting 74.2% of Traditional Finance Users with Competitive Fees
MEXC, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has released its report on the migration of traditional finance users to crypto exchanges. The survey collected 6,185 responses across 13 languages and found that 74.2% of traditional asset trading activities have shifted to crypto exchanges. This trend is not limited to any specific investment channel, with 77.8% of commodity ETF investors and 73.8% of brokerage users migrating to crypto exchanges.
The report also reveals that among users whose first investment experience came from the crypto market, 61.9% have already traded traditional assets on crypto exchanges, while 53.4% said crypto exchanges have become their primary venue for trading precious metals. The top two reasons for switching to crypto exchanges were 24/7 market access and more competitive fees.
MEXC CEO Vugar Usi stated that a financial infrastructure better aligned with today's user needs is taking shape, and MEXC is committed to building an all-day, 0-fee, single-account, low-friction multi-asset trading platform. The report shows that nearly 70% of users have missed trading opportunities due to market closures, but crypto exchanges are providing a solution by offering futures contracts.
