Crypto Exchanges Blend Digital Assets and Stocks as Trading Fees Plummet
Major crypto exchanges are expanding their services to include real U.S. stock trading, allowing eligible users to move between digital assets and traditional equities without changing platforms. However, advertised commission rates do not always reflect the total cost of a trade, with platform fees, spreads, and other expenses adding up.
A recent comparison by Yellow.com found that Bitget, MEXC, Binance, Gate, and Kraken are among the top crypto exchanges for low-fee U.S. stock trading in 2026. While some exchanges offer 0% commission, these fees can be offset by platform costs or promotions.
Bitget's Stock+ platform stands out with its broad stock access, competitive pricing, and fractional shares, offering over 10,000 real U.S. stocks and ETFs at a trading fee starting from 0.05%. The exchange also charges $0 management fees and supports up to 24/5 trading.
The comparison focused on the full stock-trading experience, including factors such as trading fees, platform fees, spreads, promotional rates, stock coverage, fractional trading, funding and settlement options, and regional availability. Bitget's Stock+ was found to offer a good balance of low trading costs, broad stock access, and practical usability.
