Today, top crypto executives from Coinbase, a16z, Ripple, and Chainlink will meet with White House officials to push for the passage of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act.

The bill aims to provide regulatory certainty for US markets by dividing jurisdiction between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Most spot crypto trading would fall under the CFTC, while securities activity would remain with the SEC. Industry leaders have been advocating for this legislation since it passed in the House 13 months ago.
