Crypto regulations continue to evolve around the world, with several countries implementing new laws and guidelines. In Argentina, Bitget has won a crypto license as adoption surges in the country.

The CNV VASP registration regime (RG 1058, 2025) regulates trading, mining, payments, and capital gains for cryptocurrencies in Argentina.

Other countries with notable regulations include Australia, which has implemented ASIC's Digital Assets Framework 2026, and Brazil, where the BCB VASP regime (Law 14.478; Res 519-521/2025) governs trading, mining, payments, and capital gains.

The European Union has introduced MiCA regulation, requiring CASP authorization for crypto service providers, while France has implemented a flat tax of 31.4% on capital gains from cryptocurrencies.
